Join us for the Summer Showdown BBQ Cook-Off July 19 & 20. Come to participate or just to enjoy.

Each year the cook-off has proven to be an enjoyable experience and successful event. Due to its continual growth and to make sure we can meet all the participants and guests needs we are excited to announce the Summer Showdown BBQ Cook-Off. Participants at the Summer Showdown BBQ Cook-Off will compete at the NTSF Fair-grounds to qualify for the championship held in August during the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo.

The Top 10 Overall winners of the Summer Showdown BBQ Cook-Off will advance to the NTSF Championship Cook-Off, to be held, during the Fair, on August 20-22. In addition to the Top 10, the North Texas State Fair Association will choose 2 wild card qualifiers based on Showmanship, Food Quality, and Professionalism to cook at the Fair. No additional entry fee will be charged at the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo Championship Cook-Off.
