Beauty Pageant Rules

$30 Entry Fee
There are 6 divisions with one winner in each division and one First place runner up.

Orientation is mandatory for each contestant. We will be discussing the events of the evening. Please arrive at Fair Hall at your designated day and time. During each orientation contestants will be required to wear their number during competition and should be pinned on the right side at finger tips.

Each contestant will be judged in three categories, poise, beauty, and personality.

Poise 40%
Beauty 30%
Personality 30%

All Entries must be received no later than August 16, 2010. No applications will be accepted after this date. NO exceptions. Entry forms may be downloaded or picked up at the NTSF office. There will be a $30 entry fee. This will entitle the contestant and one (1) chaperone to a free pass to the pageant for the night of their competition. 1 additional pass may be purchased for $5.00.

Entry forms and entry fees may also be taken care of in person at the NTSF office at the Denton Fairgrounds.

The winners of each division will receive a crown, trophy, sash, and bouquet. The runners up will receive a trophy, sash, and bouquet. Little Mister will receive a belt buckle.

All winners and Runner ups of each division will be required to have their picture taken by the official NTSF photographer. All parents or guardians are required to cooperate with the official photographer in the taking of such photographs. These photographs will become the property of the NTSF and will be used for publicity and illustration in publications.

All winners are required to participate in the 2011 NTSF parade and provide the NTSF with the winner social security number.

Divisions

1. Little Mister & Little Miss Contestants will compete Sunday, August 21 at 3:00pm. Contestants are required to arrive at the Fair Grounds for orientation no later than 2:00pm. Little Mister will be judged in western wear and Little Miss will be judged in either a party or church dress. Little Mister NTSF: Age 3-5 Little Miss NTSF: Age 3-4
2. Little Miss Junior will compete Monday, August 22 at 7:00pm. All contestants are required to arrive at the fair grounds no later than 6:00pm for orientation. Contestants will be judged in either a party or church dress. Little Miss Junior NTSF: Age 5-7
3. Junior Miss Contestants will compete on Monday, August 22 at 7:00pm. All contestants are required to arrive at fair grounds no later than 6:00pm for orientation. Contestants will be asked to introduce themselves during the pageant. Be prepared to say your name and your parents’ name, your age, what school you attend, and your future ambition. Please keep it short. Junior Miss NTSF: Age 8-11
4. All Miss Teen Contestants will compete Tuesday, August 23 at 7:00pm. Contestants are required to arrive at the fair grounds no later than 6:00pm for orientation. You will be judged in formal wear (i.e. prom dress). Please be prepared to introduce yourself, your parents’ names, your age, what school you attend, and your future ambition. Please keep it short. Miss Teen NTSF: Age 12-14
5. Miss NTSF Contestants will compete Tuesday, August 23 at 7:00pm. All contestants are required to arrive at the fair grounds no later than 6:00pm for orientation. You will be judged in formal wear (i.e. prom dress). Please be prepared to introduce yourself, your parents’ names, your age, what school you attend, and your future ambition. Please keep it short. Miss NTSF should also be prepared to answer an impromptu question. Miss NTSF: Age 15-18
