2022 Scholarship Program

The North Texas Fair and Rodeo believes in Investing in the Future of Our Youth by offering scholarships to our graduating seniors. Scholarship awards are paid directly to the Junior College or University in two installments, one per semester for the first year of enrollment.

THREE scholarships are available for applicants:

We will accept applications from:

January 1st-June 1, 2022


Scholarship recipients will by notified by June 15, 2021

You also can Invest in the Future or Our Youth by contributing an amount that fits your budget, either to the North Texas Fair and Rodeo Scholarship, the Bob C. Powers Scholarship, or the Robert Bell Memorial Scholarship.

2021 Scholarship Winners

Rhiannon Klodowski

Rhiannon Klodowski

North Texas Fair Association Scholarship

The North Texas State Fair Association Scholarship was awarded to the Rhiannon Klodowski from Pilot Point. Rhiannon has been an active member of FFA for the last 4 years, participating in ag issues, radio broadcasting, and Leadership Development. She plans on attending Texas A & M University Commerce and majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Rhiannon is following her dream of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Rhiannon was the 2019 North Texas Fair and Rodeo Teen Queen
Lucas Richards

Lucas Richards

Bob C. Powers Scholarship

The Bob C. Powers Scholarship was awarded to Lucas Richards of Denton Tx. Lucas was very active in the Guyer FFA Chapter. He raised market swine, participated in Ag Sales, Public Relations, and was the acting President of that Chapter. Lucas will be attending Pennsylvania State University majoring in animal Science. His life goal is to become self-employed and run his own sine breeding operation.

Robert Bell, Trade/Vocational, Scholarship

The Robert Bell/Bobby Jones Trade/Vocational, Scholarship was awarded to Peyton Erwin of Denton, TX. Peyton has been involved in the Denton FFA program for 4 years. She has been accepted to North Central Texas College and will major in Agribusiness with a Minor in Ag Finance.
