2023 Scholarship Program

The North Texas Fair and Rodeo believes in Investing in the Future of Our Youth by offering scholarships to our graduating seniors. Scholarship awards are paid directly to the Junior College or University in two installments, one per semester for the first year of enrollment.

Four (4) scholarships are available for applicants:

We will accept applications from:

January 1st-June 1, 2023


Scholarship recipients will by notified by June 15, 2023

2022 Scholarship Winners

Levi Nelson

Levi Nelson

North Texas Fair Association Scholarship

The North Texas State Fair Association Scholarship was awarded to Levi Nelson from Krum, TX. Levi has been involved in FFA for five years and 4-H for six years, and he has been a leader in showing livestock and local leadership events and activities. Levi plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study Agribusiness Pre-Law with a minor in economics.
Rhiannon Klodowski

Rhiannon Klodowski

Harry Hall & Bill Allen Continuing Education Scholarship

The Harry Hall and Bill Allen Continuing Education Scholarship was awarded to the Rhiannon Klodowski from Pilot Point. Rhiannon has been an active member of FFA for the last 4 years, participating in ag issues, radio broadcasting, and Leadership Development. She plans on attending Texas A & M University Commerce and majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Rhiannon is following her dream of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Rhiannon was the 2019 North Texas Fair and Rodeo Teen Queen
Erik Dieterich

Erik Dieterich

Bob C. Powers Scholarship

The Bob C. Powers Scholarship was awarded to Erik Dieterich of Double Oak, TX. Erik has been ver involved as a member of the Texas 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassadors for the past four years, including as an assistant coach. Erik plans to attend the University of North Texas to study criminal justice and become a detective.
Maggie DeLaCerda

Maggie DeLaCerda

Robert Bell & Bobby Jones Trade/Vocational Scholarship

The Robert Bell/Bobby Jones Trade/Vocational Scholarship was awarded to Maggie DeLaCerda of Denton, TX. Maggie has been involved in FFA for four years and held numerous leadership roles at Denton High School. Maggie plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, TX to earn a degree in animal science with a minor in agricultural communications in hopes of becoming professor and conducting research on beef cattle.
